This is a two week camp where our most experienced staff members direct this leadership program. Their role is to guide each participant’s personal development and instill positive leadership values. Program participants receive an evaluation after each practical experience. LDP campers take part in low ropes challenge activities, overnight trips, leadership workshops and a hike to the top of Dirty Face Mountain. They will work with the younger campers, help to organize camp activities, work with camp staff, and complete service projects. Over the course of two weeks, campers will receive training and practical experience in all areas of camp operations and programming. LDP campers will learn new skills and apply them around camp, in the kitchen, dining hall, maintenance area, program areas, and in cabin groups. LDP campers will go home between weeks from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
