What to expect at camp

Cabin Leaders live in cabins with 5-8 campers, and spend much of their day with that group. Throughout each one-week session, cabin leaders act as friends, teachers, and role models for campers and have unbelievable opportunities to have a positive impact on campers’ lives. During their time as program staff, cabin leaders will assist with cabins where possible, as well as running one of the program areas in camp, which may include life-guarding, archery, or working in the kitchen. All staff members work six days each week, with a break from Friday evening until Sunday morning. Each day staff will have scheduled time off and our goal is to give each person 2 hours each day.

The Camp Facilities and Site

Camp is a rustic living environment, with several modern conveniences. Most cabins sleep 8 people and have electric lights. While all cabins have windows and doors, small critters will likely visit from time to time. Showers and restrooms are centrally located in our main lodge with additional Showers and restrooms located in the Outdoor Environmental Education Building. Camp has a somewhat rugged and hilly terrain, with temperatures in the summer ranging from 40 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
