SPIRIT - The YMCA was founded on Christian principles in 1844.The values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are stressed in daily chapels, cabin devotions and in all other activities at the Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp.
MIND - Initiative activities give campers the opportunity to creatively solve problems and develop teamwork and communication skills; arts and crafts, songs and skits allow for creative expression; nature study and ecology teach respect for the environment around us.
BODY – Leave the TV and Nintendo DS behind as camp promotes physical fitness through a variety of activities including swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, archery and hiking. Large and small group games develop coordination and provide exercise. The low ropes course is physically and mentally challenging and increases flexibility and confidence.Healthy meals andsnacks are prepared daily by our top notch kitchen staff.
We invite you to come and discover the magic of camp and enjoy fun activities in the great outdoors! Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp offers progressive, values-oriented, camper-centered programs for youth ages 6-17. Our activities combine adventure, new friendships and personal growth, creating days as unique as each of our campers and memories that last a lifetime.
