Lewis Cabin Boys won the Golden broom today for the Cleanest cabin in camp. It was Spotless! I heard one boy say "don't tell my mom then she'll want me to clean my room like this all the time!" To see more of the fun we are having at camp Click here.
ATTENTION PARENTS
Session 3 of Camp is running smoothly. We hope you are enjoying following the fun we are having in the camp photos posted online each night. A few reminders for you:
Mini Camp check out runs from 4-6 pm on Wednesday July 28, 2010. Check out for all other campers runs from 4-6 pm on Friday July 30, 2010. Please bring photo ID with you when you come to pick up your child.
There will be a Family BBQ on Friday July 30 from 4-6 pm as Checkout is running. Come hungry and enjoy hearing all about you child's week at camp.
Your Campers LOVE getting letters from home. You can send an email to your camper at campermail@lwycamp.org. Please include your camper's name and cabin name in the subject line.

After your child's stay at camp please take a few moments to complete our survey. One excellent way to hear your camper’s stories is to have them sit with you by the computer and ask the questions in our on-line parent/camper evaluation form. SPIRIT - The YMCA was founded on Christian principles in 1844.The values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are stressed in daily chapels, cabin devotions and in all other activities at the Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp.
MIND - Initiative activities give campers the opportunity to creatively solve problems and develop teamwork and communication skills; arts and crafts, songs and skits allow for creative expression; nature study and ecology teach respect for the environment around us.
BODY – Leave the TV and Nintendo DS behind as camp promotes physical fitness through a variety of activities including swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, archery and hiking. Large and small group games develop coordination and provide exercise. The low ropes course is physically and mentally challenging and increases flexibility and confidence.Healthy meals andsnacks are prepared daily by our top notch kitchen staff.

Register now for Labor Day Family Camp! FAMILY CAMP is oriented to keep
the YMCA commitment to serve the entire family. On two holiday weekends
(Memorial Day and Labor Day), an entire family can have a cabin to
themselves and spend quality vacation time together along with other
families. Canoeing, archery, meals and many other activities are
included.
